Louth - 0-16 London - 1-4:London's losing streak continued at Ruislip on Saturday, when after going into the break level with Louth they fell away in the second half, finishing up losers by nine points.
The absence of a number of key players, on duty with their colleges in the annual universities of Britain tournament, proved too much of a handicap for the losers, whose main failing was their inability to capitalise on the splendid service provided by midfielders Kevin Waldron and Diarmuid Slattery.
In contrast, Louth wasted few scoring chances, with JP Rooney, Ollie McDonnell and Christy Grimes particularly prominent.
