Bottom beat top as Longford Town shocked Bray Wanderers at Strokestown Road yesterday to leave Waterford United top of the First Division table. Damien Dunleavy got the only goal of a game Bray dominated when he slotted home a 21st minute penalty after Niall Sheridan had been taken down inside the area.

Limerick made it three wins on the trot to stay fourth in the table after a 2-1 defeat of Monaghan United at Gortakeegan.

St Francis's good away form continued as they beat Cobh Ramblers 3-2 at St Colman's Park thanks to a last minute winner from substitute Phil Gormley.
