Leinster Minor Hurling/ Dublin 1-12; Wexford 1-7: Dublin hurling received a real boost as a result of this shock five-point victory over Wexford at Enniscorthy yesterday.
Dublin led by 1-5 to 0-4 at the break, the goal coming in the 20th minute from Alan McCrabbe.
A Mark Mythen goal in the 38th minute hauled Wexford back into contention but the free-taking of Dublin's Stephen Loughlin saw Dublin take a comfortable victory in the end.
In other Leinster Minor Championship round-robin games yesterday; Carlow had a 1-15 to 0-5 victory over Wicklow in Bagenalstown, Offaly defeated Laois by 1-10 to 0-14 in Portlaoise and, in Mullinger, Westmeath overwhelmed Longford by 5-18 to 0-2.
