NFL Wicklow 1-11 Louth 0-14: Louth got their first league point on the board at Aughrim yesterday as a result of their draw with home side Wicklow after a finely balanced game.

Wicklow were lucky enough to get a share of the spoils as it took a last-minute point by substitute David Cullen to earn the draw.

Jonathan Daniels, who scored seven of Wicklow's points, had to be substituted in the second half after suffering a groin injury and he was badly missed as the home side failed to convert four scoreable frees after he left.

Wicklow full forward Wayne O'Gorman, who scored Wicklow's goal in the 50th minute to regain the lead from Louth, also had a chance of wrapping up both league points, but instead of taking a safe point he went for broke and his a feebly struck shot for goal was saved.
