NFL Division Two B/Louth 4-11 Waterford 0-5: Louth ensured Division One status next season as they cruised to victory at rain-lashed Dungarvan yesterday, the game having been switched from Walsh Park on Saturday morning.
Waterford made the better start with a brace of points, and Louth waited 15 minutes for their opening score, a Darren Clarke point from a free. But they took the lead four minutes later, one they never relinquished, when Mark Brennan goaled.
