US PGA: The final major of the season, the US PGA Championship, starts this Thursday at Oak Hill with Tiger Woods once again heading the betting list.

But if golfing punters are looking for the men in form then Davis Love III, Ian Poulter, Vijay Singh and Kenny Perry are some of those that have produced the goods when the heat is on.

Love won his fourth tournament of the year when leaving the field in his wake at The International, with Singh second, and both are previous PGA winners.

The confident Poulter, with hair to match, closed out the Nordic Open with a final round of 68 to edge Colin Montgomerie into second place by a shot and win his fifth Tour event and, at odds of 150 to 1, is well worth an interest at Oak Hill.

Perry, who is having an excellent season and will not be afraid to win if the chance arises, is priced at 25 to 1.

Padraig Harrington may have more than golf on his mind this weekend and, should the new baby arrive early, may not see out the tournament. He is quoted at 40 to 1 while Montgomerie's form of late has not impressed the bookmakers and he is an 80 to 1 chance along with Darren Clarke.
