West of Ireland: Shane Lowry and Niall Kearney have booked their places in the semi-finals of the West of Ireland Championship at Co Sligo Golf Club.
The two Irish internationals were comfortable winners with Esker Hills' Lowry defeating Strandhill's Tommy McGowan 3 and 2, while Royal Dublin's Kearney overcame Limerick's Pat Murray by the same margin.
In the other quarter-finals Cian Curley from Newlands defeated the Castle's Jim Mulready by one hole and David Corsby (Royal Lytham) also won on the last by defeating Rathmore's Alan Dunbar by two holes.
Lowry will take on Curley in tomorrow's semi-final and Kearney will face Corsby.
