Racing/News and Gowran Park preview: Luas Line is making an appearance at Goodwood tomorrow with Kieren Fallon confident of a good show from the David Wachman-trained filly in the Group Three Prestige Stakes.

Wachman's juvenile fillies have been dominant this season and Fallon will be hoping to add to the Group One victory on Damson earlier this month when he takes on 12 opponents.

"She was just beaten in a Group Two last time out and she's a lovely filly," Fallon said.

With ground conditions on the heavy side at Goodwood, Wachman is hopeful that Luas Line, runner-up to Silk And Scarlet in the Debutante Stakes, can handle the going.

"She was behind a very good filly of Aidan O'Brien's last time" said Wachman, "so we're hopeful of her chances. I think she is still improving but she is still very green."

The black-type action at home tomorrow is the Listed Denny Cordell Lavarack Fillies Stakes where Dermot Weld has three representatives including Pat Smullen's mount Misty Heights.

She was a Stakes winner here in the McCalmont earlier in the season but hasn't run since early July when beating only four home in the Grade One American Oaks at Hollywood Park.

Misty Heights will face very different ground conditions tomorrow but Cache Creek faced even deeper ground on Tuesday when fourth to Eklim in the Ruby Stakes at Tralee.

Fran Berry's mount didn't secure the clearest of runs that day and it's significant that Pat Hughes is putting her out again so quickly.

Addario had a happier experience at Tralee when following up a Gowran victory with a defeat of Five The Cove over a mile. The Jim Bolger horse has a 5lb penalty for that tomorrow in the nine-furlong handicap but looks up to completing a hat-trick.

Kilmore Princess finally managed to break her maiden when successful at Roscommon and she managed to do it on ground that had an ease in it. She goes in the fillies handicap and is marginally preferred to the hat-trick seeker Foxhollow Lady.

Jamie Spencer is on the newcomer Hills Of Aran in the opening seven-furlong maiden and the Sadlers Well's colt is an option against King Of Tory and Kawasser.

Sophiyah looked the winner all over at Tralee on Thursday until being caught on the line by Ballygowan Beauty. Joanna Morgan's horse tries to go one better in the last.
