St Mary's extended their unbeaten run in the All-Ireland league when they carried too much enterprise and flair for Ballymena at Eaton Park on Saturday. But despite his team's unblemished campaign to date, St Mary's coach Brett Pope believes that much more work remains to be done.
Outhalf Barry Lynn had a key role in tries by Kieran Lewis and substitute Peter Copeland in the 21st and 26th minutes that left Ballymena facing a 14-0 deficit. Lynn converted both scores.
Lynn copper-fastened St Mary's victory with a further penalty three minutes from time.
