Glenstal suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Rockwell full back Morgan Lyons kicked a superb penalty from the right hand touchline.
Centre Mark Timmins kicked Glenstal into the lead and when Rockwell came back with a try by winger Brendan Crowley, the Co Limerick side struck again when Max Halley touched down. Rockwell struck in first-half injury time with a try under the posts by centre Brendan O'Connor which Lyons converted. Two fine penalties by Timmins put Glenstal 14-12 ahead in the opening 10 minutes of the second half and they defended with grim resolution until Lyons struck his late penalty.
