Lisa and Leona Maguire have been named in the Great Britain and Ireland senior squad for the Vagliano Trophy against the Continent of Europe in Hamburg next July.
The gifted teenagers from Slieve Russell, who turn 14 at the end of the month, join Tara Delaney (Carlow), Danielle McVeigh (Royal County Down) and Niamh Kitching (Claremorris) in the side for the match in Germany.
Leona is the current Irish women's amateur champion, having beaten Lisa in the final. Lisa is the Irish girls' champion, and won this year's European Junior Masters' girls' championship, beating Leona into second place.
Their Masters' performances also earned them both automatic selection for Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup match against the United States.
Ireland's Mary McKenna will again captain the GB&I team and is aiming to overturn the Continentals' record-margin win in the last Vagliano Trophy match at the Fairmont St Andrews in 2007.
