The Maguire twins, Lisa and Leona, remain on course for a dream final in the Lancôme Irish Women's Close Championship after making it into the last four at Westport.
The Co Cavan 13-year-olds will face Gemma Hegarty and Dawn Marie Conaty in tomorrow morning's semi-finals before a possible family showdown in the afternoon.
Leading qualifier Lisa had a relatively straightforward passage to the last four, overcoming Mary Dowling of New Ross 3&1. Leona's path was not quite so smooth as Darragh McGowan took the match down the 18th all-square before the teenager prevailed.
Earlier in the day, Leona had put Carla Reynolds to the sword, the match only going to the 11th hole in a 9&8 win, while Lisa was only marginally less efficient in her 5&4 defeat of current international Gillian O'Leary.
