They were out in force at Seapoint last Monday week for the opening outing of the year of the Irish Senior Ladies Golf Association. One hundred and forty golfers enjoyed the great weather, which led to some excellent scoring.

Taking top prize in the gross section was Dun Laoghaire's seven handicapper Terry Sexton with 30 points, while Sutton's Catherine Booth, playing off 27, shot a highly impressive 41 points to land the nett prize. The ISLGA are back in action on June 11th at Naas.
