Malone Senior Ladies had 10 points to spare when winning their third All-Ireland Team Championship at Dundalk last week. The team of Rose Marie Dowling, Ann McClean and Carol Mitchell returned 77 points to win from Catherine Hickey, Anne Kavanagh and Nuala Lucas, representing Stackstown/Milltown. The nett prize was won by the Ballinasloe team of Mary Madden, Carmel McCarthy and Eileen Brown with 99 points, winning on a countback from Jean Carroll, Monica Connell and Sheila Davidson from Foxrock. Ann McClean made it a double for the Malone Club when she won the individual gross with 29 points while the nett went to Olive Dignam of Old Conna with 41 points.
