Derry manager Mickey Moran has revamped his side from that which lost to Wicklow and Tipperary in the final stages of the National League in advance of their Ulster Championship clash with Tyrone this Sunday. Gavin Cummiskey reports.

Paddy Bradley is named at full forward, Seán Marty Lockhart comes back in at corner back, while Enda Muldoon will attempt to fill the void left in midfield by the retirement of Anthony Tohill.

But the most notable inclusion is that of Johnny McBride, named at left-half forward after recovering from a damaged elbow.

The only potential starter ruled out through injury is Conleth Moran, who is struggling with a thigh injury. However, he has been named on the bench.

Tyrone will name their side this evening, but presuming Ger Cavlan and Eoin Mulligan get a clean bill of health there will be little change from the side defeated by Galway in the league semi-final replay.

Meanwhile, Carlow's stand-in trainer, Luke Dempsey, named his first competitive side since taking over the panel in advance of their opening Leinster Championship tie against Longford in Tullamore, also on Sunday.

Again it's a line-up with a vastly different appearance to the one which finished the league campaign in such disastrous fashion against Donegal. Johnny Nevin leads the attack.

Their opponents Longford will name their side tomorrow night.

Waterford will name their team for this Sunday's National Hurling League final tonight. Eoin McGrath (wrist) and Eoin Murphy (finger) have been declared available to start.

Clare manager Anthony Daly is still hopeful full back Brian Lohan will be fit to start the Munster Championship opener against Waterford on Sunday week.

Tony Griffin (fractured thumb) and Jamesie O'Connor (stitches in his index finger) have been training but still aren't sure of their availability, while Frank Lohan is carrying a less serious hamstring strain.
