CyclingCycling Ireland has confirmed the six riders who will line out in the World Road Race Championships in Stuttgart this week, reports Shane Stokes.
Multiple Irish champion and record holder David McCann will get the Irish campaign under way when he goes in the 44.9 kilometre elite men's time trial on Thursday.
The trio of Daniel Martin, Mark Cassidy and Isaac Speirs then compete in the 171.9 kilometre under 23 road race on Saturday.
Irish road race champion Siobhan Dervan will line out in the 133.7 kilometre elite women's race that afternoon.
Philip Deignan, who has just finished the Tour of Spain, will then conclude the Irish campaign on Sunday when he competes in the 14 lap, 267.4 elite men's road race.
