UNDER-21 FOOTBALL ULSTER QUARTER-FINALS/Tyrone 0-12 Donegal 0-6:TYRONE EXPERIENCED little difficulty in sending Donegal crashing out of the championship at Healy Park last night .
Darren McCurry turned in an impressive attacking display with a four-point tally as they set up a semi-final clash with Down.
The home side dominated for most of the game, with the visitors failing to turn a second half flourish into scores.
McCurry landed four excellent points, three of them from play, as Tyrone established control.
Dermot Molloy finally opened Donegal’s account with a fisted effort in the 28th minute, followed by a superb long-range effort from McBrearty, but at the halfway stage, Tyrone led by 0-7 to 0-2.
Points from McBrearty and a McGarvey 45 narrowed the gap to four points.
Tyrone had gone 18 minutes without a score when Tommy Canavan landed a long-range effort, but they finished strongly to win by double scores
