Martin Kaymer moves past Graeme McDowell, Henrik Stenson, Oliver Wilson, Nick Dougherty and into sixth place on the European Ryder Cup table after his victory in Munich.

The top 10 who would earn places as things stand are Lee Westwood, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Robert Karlsson, Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia, Kaymer, Stenson, Wilson, Dougherty and McDowell.

Stenson's sixth-placed finish in Germany very nearly knocked Sergio Garcia out of an automatic spot.

Open champion Harrington and Luke Donald would be clear favourites for Faldo's two wild cards.
