Kilkenny College 15 Pres, Bray 14:THERE WAS a sensational finish to this Leinster Junior Cup tie in Carlow yesterday when, with the last play of the game, Kilkenny centre Jack McDowell broke through the Pres Bray defence to cross for the winning try.

Pres led 14-5 with time running out, but in added time Kilkenny number eight Ross Deacon went over for an unconverted try. Six minutes later wing forward Shane Delahunt broke through and fed McDowell who touched down.

Pres led 7-5 at the break after a try from centre Cillian Gwihen, converted by Philip Haughton, to cancel out a try from Kilkenny secondrow Cameron O’Carroll. Haughton’s try 11 minutes after the restart, which he converted, looked to have sealed victory.
