SCOTLAND: Manager Walter Smith has included Everton forward James McFadden in his squad for next month's Group B qualifiers with France and Ukraine. McFadden has not played since suffering a hamstring injury in the victory over Lithuania on September 6th.
Smith, who named a 25-man squad yesterday, called up Cardiff City defender Kevin McNaughton for McFadden's injured club-mate Gary Naysmith who faces six weeks out with a knee injury.
Scotland will miss Celtic striker Kenny Miller through suspension for the clash with France at Hampden Park on October 7th, but he is available to face Ukraine four days later.
