Leinster A 14 Edinburgh A 15CENTRE FERGUS McFadden hit the post in attempting to convert Niall Morris's 75th-minute try to consign Leinster A to a defeat by Edinburgh A at Anglesea Road yesterday.
While McFadden shot two penalties in the third and 10th minutes, Edinburgh stayed in touch with a try from Matt Dey before McFadden made it 9-5 on the half-hour. A penalty by David Blair squeezed the gap and the conversion of Ben Meyer’s try made all the difference as McFadden failed to swing it for Leinster.
