Golf:Damien McGrane was in a three-way tie for first spot 10 holes through his third round the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco, while Michael Hoey was the leader in the clubhouse on 10 under after a stunning 65 earlier in the day.
Meathman McGrane had completed his second round earlier today after high winds yesterday meant five and a half hours play had been lost on day two.
McGrane started the third round a stroke clear of Welshman Phillip Price and he then made a solid start with two birdies in his first four holes. However, this was followed by three bogeys and a single birdie.
Italian teenager Matteo Manassero was enjoying a consistent round with six birdies after 14 holes, including three in succession after the turn.
Jose Manuel Lara was also on 11 under, and only a bogey at the 18th prevented Hoey from joining the leaders. The Ulster golfer carded eight birdies and an eagle on the 10th, while also dropping shots on the fifth and 12th.
Mark Murphy was six shots off the lead after a 71, with Shane Lowry a shot further back after also signing for a one-under round.
Play was suspended for the day just before 7pm, with the leaders facing 26 holes on Sunday.
