The second senior women's international between Ireland and England will be played at The European Club in Wicklow next Tuesday and Wednesday, October 19th and 20th. England won first time out by seven matches to five at Burnham and Berrow but Irish non-playing captain Mary Anderson (Woodbrook) is very hopeful of levelling the series. She can call on the celebrated talents of Mary McKenna (Donabate) who will be making here senior international debut along with Rhona Fanagan (Milltown), Vera Cummins (Ardee). McKenna tied for third in last month's British Seniors Open at Malone alongside teammate Jane Allen (Royal Portrush). Val- erie Hassett (Ennis), second at Malone and also in last year's US Senior Amateur, is another member of the team in good form.

The squad is completed by Geraldine Costello, Catherine Hickey (both Milltown), Roma English (Larne) and Mary Madden (Ballinasloe).

The match consists of four fourballs on the first day and eight singles on the second. There are tentative plans to expand the event into a Home Internationals series.
