EQUESTRIAN:The good weather drew the crowds to yesterday's final session of the Mullingar international horse show, where the show jumping highlight was the second leg of the TRM/SJI premier series Grand Prix.

Only two combinations managed to record double clears, the fastest second round (46.28) being recorded by Conor McMahon with his mother Maureen’s Diamant de Semilly stallion Pacino.

Conor Swail took second with his new mount Dryden (48.87), while Joan Greene, riding Biscaya d’Eversem, placed third with a clear in the second round, having had a single pole down in the first round.

Jemma Kirk fared best of the British challengers when fifth on Wexford.
