Dundalk 0 Bohemians 2:PETER McMahon's 70th-minute blockbuster secured Bohemians all three points against a disappointing Dundalk side at Oriel Park last night.

The Bohs midfielder rounded off a wonderful team move by running on to Keith Ward’s backheel to fire an unstoppable drive into Peter Cherrie’s top right-hand corner to seal an impressive win for Aaron Callaghan’s side.

The Gypsies dominated possession in the first half and took a well-deserved lead into the interval.

Keith Ward pulled all the strings in the centre of the park and it was no surprise when Ryan McEvoy broke the deadlock in the 26th minute. McMahon slipped away from Luke Danville inside the 18-yard box and his cut back was gathered by McEvoy, who sidestepped Peter Thomas to slide the ball past Cherrie.
