MEATH made amends for last year's junior All-Ireland football semi-final defeat by Mayo when they survived a late Yorkshire rally at Halton Moore, Leeds on Saturday night to qualify for this year's decider. Meath led 0-7 to 0-4 at the interval, but Yorkshire rallied in the closing minutes with a headed goal from Pat Flaherty and a second goal by Chris Leavy which reduced the deficit to three points, 2-6 to 0-15. However Peter Sullivan sent over his sixth point near the end to secure victory.
