Irish Distillers have confirmed the Paddy Old Irish Whiskey sponsorship of the Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland men's national strokeplay championship will continue in 2001. Entries this year close on May 16th with qualifying rounds countrywide to be contested on Sunday June 10th. The finals will be played at Stackallen on July 7th and 8th.
