Mickelson, who from six strokes behind fired a closing 64 to take the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am yesterday, improves from 17th to 11th.
Spain’s Rafael Cabrera-Bello moves up 59 spots to 60th thanks to his Dubai Desert Classic win. He earns a place in next week’s 64-man WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship as a result.
Ireland’s Rory McIlroy remains at third in the rankings with Graeme McDowell at 12 and Darren Clarke ranked 54. Padraig Harrington is currently placed at 86.
