A storming second-half performance by midfielders Donnacha Walsh and Noel Lynch secured the O'Sullivan Cup (Kerry Colleges senior football) title for Intermediate School, Killorglin, yesterday at rain-sodden Fitzgerald Stadium.
The game was level 0-4 each at half-time, but Walsh and Lynch then took over. In the 34th minute Walsh goaled after fielding magnificently and carving open the opposing defence.
