Carlow Schools 2-11 Moate 0-6There was a controversial and premature end to this knock-out tie at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow, yesterday when the Moate Community School team walked off the field with two minutes of play remaining.
Moate CS had just been reduced to 13 men after Kildare referee Fintan Barrett issued straight red cards to wing back Brendan Arigho and half forward Conor Hynds.
Carlow Schools were the better side throughout this game and led 1-5 to 0-3 at half-time, having played into a strong wind.
