Number eight Kieran Moloney inspired Good Counsel College, New Ross to a comprehensive victory over Gorey CS at Enniscorthy yesterday.
Having led 19-0 at the break it was in the second half that Moloney exploded on the scene with two excellent tries created by good second-phase possession by the pack.
One of the tries was excellently converted off the touchline by outhalf Derek Byrne.
Gorey struggled throughout the game with Good Counsel's heavier pack dominant in the tight and loose leading to first-half tries from Hughie Doyle, Shane Murphy and Kyle Hudson, two of which were converted by Byrne.
