Monaghan - 0-11 Fermanagh - 0-10:Monaghan survived by the skin of their teeth in this rather scrappy game in Clones yesterday. The home side led 0-7 to 0-4 at half-time, scoring three unanswered points in the final minutes.

In the second half, two early points from John O'Flanagan reduced Monaghan's lead and Fermanagh goalkeeper Niall Tinney saved a Paul Meehan penalty.

Entering the final quarter Monaghan again opened a three-point lead, but Fermanagh twice came within a point in the closing stages.
