CBC Monkstown 11 Templeogue Collage 5 A tightly contested game at Kilternan yesterday saw Monkstown book their place in the final of the Vinnie Murray Cup.

CBC Monkstown's attempts to move the ball wide were thwarted in the early stages with Templeogue holding their ground well.

But after several phases of play Monkstown were handed their first penalty on 10 minutes with Justin Kinch landing the penalty from inside the 22.

But the unfortunate outhalf who missed CBC's two previous games after chipping a tooth was forced to retire on 15 minutes after sustaining an injured in a tackle.
