Limerick Preview:Liam Burke won't have far to travel from his Mallow yard to make the first race at Limerick and his horse, Domhnach Mor, can get the final day of the Christmas festival off to a perfect start for punters in the four-year-old hurdle.

Domhnach Mor secured a point-to-point victory before coming to Limerick for his first racecourse start and there was plenty of encouragement in the way he kept going to be runner-up to Orge D'Ete.

Simons Girl will be the Burke contender for the following mares maiden hurdle but this one faces a task in coping with Shuil A Hocht who looks a top candidate for John Kiely's stable.

Charles Byrnes was in Grade One winning form at Leopardstown yesterday but he looks to have a very different winning opportunity in the handicap chase at his local track.

Ask Joey has a mark of 88 after three novice runs over fences and he wasn't running on too badly behind Snowy Morning at Navan on the last of them. Andrew McNamara's booking won't harm his chance either.

Idealrise followed up a good run at Gowran with a success at Thurles.

A 13lb rise for that shouldn't stop Tommy Cooper's horse going close in the handicap hurdle while Jimmy Mangan's smart point-to-point horse Bobbawn could be one to beat Jim Culloty's Dungourney winner Garden Shed Spider in the hunters chase.

Davy Condon has been in good form at Limerick this week and he looks a good booking for Suva in the handicap hurdle.

Raymond Hurley's horse didn't show too badly in a Gowran maiden behind Offshore Account and could be ready to step up.
