British Horseracing Board racing director Paul Greeves yesterday described as "speculation" a report that there will be 132 straight days racing next year.
As the 2000 fixture list has not yet been finalised he would not confirm or deny plans for racing in Britain on every Sunday through the summer - removing all blank days from May through to August.
But he did underline the BHB's enthusiasm for racing on Sunday.
The BHB have programmed racing for 12 Sundays this year.
