Moyne CS 1-8 St Patrick's Cavan 0-6: Moyne qualified for the knockout stages of the A championship when they defeated St Patrick's, Cavan, in Cornafean yesterday.

The Longford school led by 0-4 to 0-2 at half-time despite having Andy Gilna sent off.

St Patrick's fought back to level the scores at 0-5 each after 39 minutes but then had Damien Reilly sent off. Moyne took advantage and a Kieron Gill goal inspired them to victory.
