Muckross Park complete the line-up for the semi-finals of the Esat Digiphone-sponsored Leinster Schoolgirls' Senior Cup following a 1-0 win over Loreto Beaufort in their quarter-final replay at Serpentine Avenue yesterday.

The result was a repeat of Muckross Park's victory over the same opposition in the 1997 final and sets them up for a semi-final meeting with holders Wesley College, who beat them 3-2 on penalties at the same stage of last year's competition.

Muckross and Beaufort had drawn 1-1 in Monday's meeting and there was little between them again yesterday, with a second half Anna McCormack goal putting her school through to the last four.

Next Wednesday's semi-finals take place at Grange Road, with the first game (at 1.30) between Mount Anville, last year's beaten finalists, and Loreto Foxrock. The Muckross v Wesley match is scheduled for 3.30.
