CASTLEKNOCK COLLEGE 59; ST ANDREW'S COLLEGE 15: Castleknock College announced themselves as contenders for the Leinster section A Junior Cup with this demolition of St Andrew's College at Terenure College yesterday.
Castleknock opened with tries from Karl Coombes and Paul O'Byrne, the first converted by Brian Collins, for a 12-0 lead after nine minutes. St Andrew's responded with a try from Andrew Trotter and Darragh O'Conaill landed a penalty.
Castleknock brought on a clutch of replacements in the second half as Alan Hickey, Eoin Mullen (2), Tony Iyayi, Paul Olima, Sanyo Odunsi and Conor Farrell completed the rout. Nigel Lowther scored a consolation try for St Andrew's.
