A second-half penalty miss by James Mulligan proved costly for Finn Harps as they failed to take all three points against Sligo last night. Mulligan had given Harps the lead in the 17th minute when he headed in from close range after a fine Harps move. Lee Thew equalised for Sligo after 30 minutes when he headed home Neil Ogden's driven cross.
Harps were awarded their penalty in the 65th minute but Mulligan blazed it over the bar.
