British and Irish Cup - Neath 12 Munster A 21:ANTHONY FOLEY believes Munster A's revival at Neath on Saturday was inspired by a healthy dose of dressingroom rage.
The Red Army trailed 12-0 at the interval in south Wales before head coach Foley held an inquest and he insists a few raised voices and home truths behind closed doors had a positive effect as Munster A kept up their 100 per cent record in the completion.
Foley said: “We came off second best in every position in the first half and things weren’t going our way. So there were some home truths at half-time. We asked the players some questions about the standards within this team and what is expected when they pull on the red jersey.”
But the visitors roared back after the break and secured a victory in Pool B through tries from Peter O’Mahony and Tom Gleeson as well as 11 points from outhalf Declan Cusack grabbed a fourth successive group win.
