Munster defeated Leinster 20-18 in Saturday's under-21 interprovincial at Thomond Park.
Munster were leading 20-13 as the game drifted into injury-time, but then James Downey scored in the corner leaving Andrew Tallon with the touchline conversion to level the match.
Tallon, who had earlier kicked a conversion and two penalties, was wide of the mark.
Conrad O'Sullivan kicked four penalties for Munster, Gerry Quaid dropped a goal and Frank Murphy scored a try.
Munster had led 6-0 at half-time.

David Clark has been reinstated as head coach of Canada - nearly four months after being fired one year into a three-year contract.
The Rugby Canada board controversially dismissed Clark on August 1st, citing a lack of confidencein his abilities.
But the board have now admitted that there were insufficient reasons for their sacking of Clark.
