This was quickly followed by a Lansdowne try by hooker Alan Ronan. Young Munster hit back to lead 13-7 at half-time through Clem Casey's try and Mike Lynch's penalty. Young Munster sealed victory with tries from Lynch, Casey and Mike Mullins.
