Munster A 27 Leinster A 11: A strong Munster 'A' side got the better of Leinster at the University of Limerick yesterday afternoon.

The hosts opened the scoring with a Jeremy Manning penalty after two minutes, before Leinster outhalf Ian Keatley leveled the scores four minutes later.

A Barry Murphy brace of tries on 12 and 20 minutes - both converted by Manning - then pushed Munster into a 17-3 lead.

Keatley slotted home his second effort of the afternoon before a Denis Fogarty try on the stroke of half-time gave Munster a commanding 22-6 half-time lead.

To Leinster's credit, they dug deep and were rewarded for their efforts when replacement prop Jamie Hagan crashed over for his side's only try, but a try in the last minute of the game from captain James Coughlan sealed the win for Munster.
