Ireland's Gary Murphy moved to within four shots of the lead when he finally completed his second round at the Russian Open in Moscow this morning.
Murphy managed only five holes due to rain interruptions yesterday and sat second, six shots behind leader Per-Ulrik Johansson after the Swede's magnificent 10-under-par 62.
Resuming this morning, however, the 34-year-old turned in a sterling inward half with birdies at the 11th, 12th and 15th for a round of 68 and nine-under total of 135.
Scotland's Richie Ramsay, making his professional debut after leaving the amateur ranks last week, also completed his second round and made the cut today.
On level par after three holes yesterday, two under overall, Ramsay double-bogeyed the seventh and dropped shots on the first and last but managed a level-par round of 72 with four birdies.
