Cork...2-13 Tipperary...3-08: Eoin Murphy came off the bench to score a goal two minutes into injury-time to give Cork victory over holders Tipperary in the Munster minor hurling final at Semple Stadium yesterday.
Cathrach Keane got an early goal for Cork but Shane Long replied in like for Tipperary. Dara Hickey shot Tipp's second goal for a 2-6 to 1-5 interval lead.
Seven minutes into the second half Long scored his second goal to put Tipperary six points clear.
Patrick Cronin scored valuable points for Cork and they piled on the pressure until Murphy hit that late goal.
