My Emma has been given the go-ahead to run in Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and was one of 23 horses left in the Longchamp showpiece after yesterday morning's first forfeit stage.

Tomorrow there is a supplementary entry stage for the race when Borgia, the expected mount of Kieren Fallon and trained in Germany by Bruno Schutz, is expected to join the fray.

My Emma's participation in the European race had been put in jeopardy when she slipped and banged herself earlier this month. But trainer Rae Guest said: "She worked well this morning and went clear of her lead horse."

Last year's winning jockey Olivier Peslier teamed up for his final workout with his Arc mount Peintre Celebre yesterday.

"The horse felt good, and he has come on since his run in the Prix Niel at Longchamp last month," said Peslier.
