• Saturday's Parnell Park treble header saw Kilmacud Crokes, UCD and Raheny progress into the quarter-finals. The big clash of the day proved a disappointment as Crokes overcame St. Brigid's by three points, 0-14 to 1-8, with Dublin's Ray Cosgrove hitting four points, two coming from frees.
UCD enjoyed a comfortable 1-13 to 0-5 victory over Malahide's St. Sylvster's, who were only a point behind following a determined opening half 0-5 to 0-4.
Raheny endured quite an argument from St. James's Emmets before booking their ticket 1-8 to 1-6, to the last eight.
Eamon Curley goaled for Raheny on 15 minutes, but Aidan Lawlor struck a goal for the Crumlin team three minutes later.
