Na Fianna, the holders, produced a blistering first-half display to overwhelm their Northside neighbours in a disappointing Dublin championship semi-final at Parnell Park yesterday.
Na Fianna outscored their opponents by 0-10 to 0-2 in the opening period with Mick Galvin picking off some fine scores as Ballymun struggled to contain a free-flowing forward line that included Dessie Farrell and Jason Sherlock.
They added three further points after the interval through corner forward Ian Foley and despite the introduction of Dublin intercounty player Ian Robertson for Kickhams, Na Fianna never looked in danger of relinquishing their lead.
