Golf:A stunning eight-under-par 63 from American Kevin Na saw him hit the front at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Nevada today.

The 28-year-old did not drop a shot all day as he checked into the clubhouse with an overall score of 12 under, with overnight leader Jhonattan Vegas joining him.

Vegas was four under today, with South Korea’s Charlie Wi also reaching the same score with a five-under 66 two holes out from the 18th.

Brendan Steele and Kevin Streelman were next in line on 11 under, with pre-tournament favourite Nick Watney six shots off the pace as he began his second round.

Scotland’s Martin Laird, a winner in Las Vegas in 2009 and a runner-up last year, was even par after two holes and 11 shots behind the leaders.
