Leinster SHC: Carlow's Naomh Eoin proved too strong for Celbridge at Leixlip yesterday, going on to win , 3-14 to 0-12 after Kevin Foley found the net in the 26th minute.
Celbridge conceded a second goal to Robert Foley and the winners led by 2-7 to 0-5 at half-time. Foley struck for the third goal at the start of the final quarter and it killed off what little prospect there was of a Celbridge recovery.

Meanwhile, Oulart-the Ballagh easily defeated Knockbridge 6-21 to 0-9 at Knockbridge yesterday. Rory Jacob opened the floodgates on 18 minutes and Des Mythen rattled the Knockbridge net a minute later.
The visitors reeled off 2-6 before the break as Mythen netted twice. Anthony O'Leary landed two more goals before the end.
